Praying For The Man You Love | Day 15: Confidence

Dear Lord,

Praise you for the truth that there is nothing that can separate us from Your love, that there is now nothing that bars our way from coming to Your throne of flowing grace. You tore the veil. Your scripture describes how we as believers may approach You, and how we may walk in this life, using the bold word of confidence.

Father, I pray this over his life today.

That he will walk in full confidence: knowing Who You are, knowing how You see him, knowing who he is in You, knowing how You have called him to walk.

There is no room for doubt in the type of life You won for us. There is no room for fear or confusion. Let him have the utmost clarity and determination in Your purpose for him. May he walk boldly, with his eyes fixed above and his head lifted up.

Help his faith develop into a strong shield with which to do battle. Create a warrior’s heart inside of him! A warrior against fear, against the lies of Satan. Father, may he recognize just how intimate his relationship with You can and should be, that there is no need for shame or timidity. Give him the confidence of King David, passionate in his love for You and zealous in his pursuit of Your will.

Give him confidence in this world, alongside his fellow man, that he would be an inspiration to them rather than influenced by any of their doubt. He is Your beloved one, Lord, and I pray he grasps this.

Praise You, in whom with we live and move and have our being. In the name of Jesus, amen.
